AGM 2024

This year our AGM will be held on Tuesday, the 9th of April, at 7 pm in the Jonathan Swift Theatre in the Arts Block.

To nominate yourself, please email dupa@csc.tcd.ie with your name & the position(s) you would like to run for before the meeting on the 9th. Candidates will give speeches capped at 2 minutes for chair, secretary, treasurer; and 1 minute for all other roles. voting will follow. If you are not elected for your chosen role, you may run for any other following position. 🤍

 

 

Positions will be elected in the following order:

  • Chairperson
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Exhibitions Officer
  • Darkroom Officer
  • Public Relations Officer (PRO)
  • Visual Communications Officer
  • (VCO)
  • Classes & Speakers Officer
  • Equipment Officer
  • Travel Officer
  • Two Ordinary Committee Members (OCM)

 

 

You must be a member of DUPA at least 24 hours before the AGM to run for a position and/or vote.

 

 

We can’t wait to meet next year’s committee! 🫶

 
 
The commitment is one hour of weekly committee meetings and mandatory attendance at our weekly events and classes. 
 
Even if you’re not running, we still ask you to come as we need to reach a quorum. Also, we will be voting on any constitutional amendments, so come have a say in how the society is run!
